With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward M. Hefner of Akron, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Edward departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edward. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary. He is survived by: his children, Richard Hefner (Bobbie) and Monica Dever (Stephen); his grandchildren, Collin Hefner (Amber), Blake Hefner (Maddie), Saige Gilley (Travis) and Sgt Jacob Dever; and his great grandchildren, Cecelia and Beckham.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Uniontown Fire Dept Hall (13055 Oakwood Ave NW, Uniontown, OH 44685).
