Eliza Jane Hanshaw Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eliza Jane Hanshaw of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Lyons and Ruth Lyons (Tanner); her siblings, Rosalee Metheney, Virgil, Frank and David Lyons; and her brothers-in-law, David Metheney, Ronzel Tanner and Howard Counts.
She is survived by: her sons, Travis (Stephanie "Baby Girl"), Hanshaw of Norton and Howard "Triple H" Hanshaw of Ovapa, WV; her grandson Travis Charles; her close friend Ron Golden; and her sisters, Betty (Wayne Dallachiesa) of Creston and Janet Counts of Akron.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Murray Funeral Home (173 S Main St, Creston, OH 44217). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
