Ellene N. Nuzum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellene N. Nuzum (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Pritchard and Virgie Pritchard; her husband Albert A. Nuzum; her brother Byron Pritchard; and her sons-in-law, Barry Brockenbrough and Dan John.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Brockenbrough, Jerry Nuzum (Mary) and Marilyn John; her grandchildren, Barry, Bob, Lisa, Jason, Dylan and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Keristan, Tyrus, Chloe, Avery, Emma and Jolene; and her brother Edward Pritchard (Nancy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maranatha Bible Church (1424 Killian Rd, Akron, OH 44312).
