She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas James; her mother Lovell Harris; her siblings, Wilbert Ruple, James Ruple, Robert Ruple, Christine Ruple, Bernice Jameison and Viola Mims; and her sons, Johnny James and Randy James.
She is survived by: her sisters, Joann Washington (Ray) of Akron and Patricia Taylor (Steve) of Pittsburgh, PA.; her children, Michele Bowers, Tonia James Howell (Charles) of Akron, Ohio., Kenny James (Roslyn) of Hope and Michael James of Barberton, Ohio.; her granddaughters, Andrea May (Indiana), Cynthia Martin (Owen) of Barberton, Sophie Watters (Malik) of Akron and Nicole Johnson (Marlo) of Akron; and her niece Terry McKee (Larry) of Akron. She is also survived by other grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids.
