It is with sadness that the passing of ErMest Dae Cochran in Akron, Ohio is shared. ErMest, born on April 15, 1930, passed away on July 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
ErMest will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor ErMest by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though ErMest is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. ErMest’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Burton Cochran; her mother Susie Gray Gillespie; and her siblings, William Earl Gillespie and Eula Mae Miles. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Myers (William) of Parker and Sharon Troike (John) of Bath, Ohio; her sister Regina Chalfant of Akron; and her nephew Guy Gillespie (Adrienne) of Lititz, Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
