It is with sadness that the passing of Finn Charles Appelgren Knudsen (Akron, Ohio) is shared. Finn, born on August 30, 1936, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Finn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Finn is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Finn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes Knudsen and Alva Knudsen. He is survived by: his wife Ulla; his sons, Lasse (Jeannette) and Kim (Dan Dusanic); his granddaughters, Nikkia (Jeff Serbin) and Giovanna (Josh Strunk); and his great grandchild Teagan.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Firestone County Club (452 East Warner Road, Akron, OH 44319).
