She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dancy and Mildred Dancy; and her siblings, Leona Wise Dancy, Margaret Dancy (Howard), Charles Dancy and James Dancy.

She is survived by : her son William Dancy (Karla); her stepson Curtis McCraney; and her grandchildren, Tonya Dancy, Shatica Wilkes, Billy Dee Williams and Latroy Graham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rhoden Memorial (1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (200 College St, Wadsworth, OH 44281).
