He is survived by: his brother Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity; his wife Patricia Denise Russell; his daughters, Courtney Lynn Morton-Perry (Chris) and Kyla Morton Edwards; his grandchildren, Kayden Edwards, Carter Perry, Campbell Perry and Canaan Perry; and his siblings, Anthony, Dwight (Antoinette) and Donna J Wilson.

“Greg Morton and I attended Central- Hower high school in the early 70s. I was a sophomore and Greg a senior. Greg was a leader, mentor and friend. Our mothers worked together at a food bank, when I tried out for football Greg took me under his wings and taught me the game of football. When he signed his letter of intent to attend Michigan I didn’t agree. As it turned out it was the best move. I moved to Buffalo N.Y. And Greg was drafted by the Bills. In 76. Rest in peace my brother. I”
