He was predeceased by: his parents, George Head and Ruby Head; and his daughter Harolynn. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Cheri Harris (Derrick) and Tami Jenkins (Jeff); his grandchildren, Darnett Virden (Janay), Talia Hodge and Damaris Jenkins; his great grandchild Jordin; and his sister Shirley Shropshire.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tribue Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home (529 W Thornton St, Akron, OH 44307). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the House of the Lord (1650 Diagonal Rd, Akron, OH 44320).
