Helen Sheridan Compton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Sheridan Compton (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd, Stow, OH 44224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to George Frederick Compton, Jr. and Helen S. Carroll Scholarship at the University of Akron School of Law.
