He is survived by: his partner Kathey Swain; his children, Carmen Corbin of Monroe, NC, Janice Lawson of Cleveland Ohio, Howard Jones Jr. of Akron Ohio, Robin Johnson of Toledo Ohio, LaTonya Johnson (Clayton) of Columbus Ohio and Deo Swain; his sister Shirley Keys (Rafe) of Erie, PA; and his grandchildren, Dawn, Courtney, Erica and Elijah. He is also survived by Four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Temple Church-Living God (701 Sylvan Ave, Akron, OH 44306). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Mount Peace Cemetery (183 Aqueduct St, Akron, OH 44303).
