He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orr and Rachel Orr (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Orr; his children, Russell Orr (Kate), Terri Charlton (Jeff) and Cheryl Lyons (David); his grandchildren, Rachel Steiner (Brian), Sarah Anderson (Zach), Kristina Nutt (Tim) and Michael Lyons; his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Brooklynn, Blake Steiner, Silas, Levi, Harper Anderson, Makayla, Liliana and Ethan Nutt; and his siblings, Tom Orr (Betty) and Sally Bole (Glen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (704 N Firestone Blvd, Akron, OH 44306). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Grace Baptist Church Bus Ministry.
