James Koshel Obituary
The passing of James Koshel (Akron, Ohio) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 13, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Loretta; and his sisters, Janet Goodworth and Lillian Feador. He is survived by: his children, Carol Hausknecht (Doug), Barb Walter (Ted), Jim Koshel (Sue), Rick Koshel (Sandy), John Koshel (Amy) and Ann Wutsch (Dan). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home - Copley (3475 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321). A Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish (164 W Market St, Akron, OH 44303). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery- Brookpark (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
