He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gillis and Margaret Pratt Gillis; his son Richard Woods; and his sister Margaret Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Pratt; his sons, Thomas Woods, James Lamont and John Anthony Pratt; his siblings, Elizabeth, Kelia, Larry Pratt (Kay) and Michael Pratt; and his nieces, Shaneek, Tyron, Iriel, Jamie, Kayla and Megan. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rhoden Memorial (1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
