She was predeceased by: her husband Roy C. Barr; her parents, Edward F. Matson and Mona R. Matson; and her siblings, Joyce Tallcott and Alden "Bitts" Matson.
She is survived by: her son Edward C. Barr (Lisa M. Barr); her sister Judy Hudgins; and her sister-in-law Chris Matson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
