It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis M. Hughes (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Clayton Hughes; her children, Holly Mothes, Heather McAfee (Gary), Fred Hughes and Clayton Hughes (Cindy); her sisters-in-law, Barbara Robinson and Wanda McPeak; and her grandchildren, Melissa Cooper (Cory), Seth Riley (Lily), Ian Bennett (Heidi), Charles Mothes (Sarah), Erin Biscan (Dean), Courtney Bennett (Martin Labbe), Joshua Hughes, Rhea Allison Ladany (Austin), William Hughes (Sean), Tracee McAfee (Greg), Wendy McAfee (Dave Lucak) and Todd Haralson (Amanda). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
