She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Hodge and Emma Meinke Hodge; her husband Harold C. Colley, Jr.; her mother-in-law Rebecca Colley; her sister-in-law Ann Louise Colley; her son-in-law William Sonnie; her cousins, Louise Thomas, Nancy Brandt, Anne Damon and John Grubb; and her nieces, Sally Simmons and Jennifer Windle.
She is survived by: her children, James Colley (Peggy) of Wickenburg, Nancy Laria (Jim) of Akron and Emily Sonnie of Chardon; her grandchildren, Wendy Harris (Wes), Jimmy Laria (Jess), Webbe Colley and Jack Colley; her great grandchildren, Logan, Mackenzie, Ellie, Alessia and James "JJ"; her sisters, Carol Poe (Don) of Chagrin Falls and Emily Brasfield of Chagrin Falls; her sister-in-law Sue Mackay (Jim) of Newburyport, Massachusetts; and her cousin Janet Neff.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Billow's Fairlawn Chapel (85 N Miller Rd, Akron, OH 44333). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the same location.
