He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Herston and Rita Herston (Bower); his wife Carol; and his brothers, Jack, John and Joel Herston.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Ramsey (Charlie), Jennifer King (Blake), Michael Herston (Elizabeth) and Owen Herston (Abbie Bruno); his grandchildren, Devon, Walter, Derek, Jasper, Oliver, Oscar and Dorothy; his siblings, Jim Herston and Joni Jacobs (Larry); his sisters-in-law, Debbie Herston and Sheri Rouse; his friends, Susan Knicely (Jeff), Heather Weeks (Joel) and Jill Knicely (Dan); his brothers-in-law, Tom Drurey (Tina) and Rick Drurey (Vanessa); and his pet Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3326 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
