He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Borrell and Minnie Smith; his daughter Deborah Jean; his brother Kenny; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Smith, John Schaub, Jr. and Rick Veres.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Tim (Angela) of Atlanta, Mike of Akron, Chris of Houston, Andy (Natalie) of Aurora, Patti Meszaros (Bob) of West Chester and Terri Bosanac (Eric) of Avon; his sisters, Bobbi Smith of Rockford Illinois, Phyllis Bertsch (Jim) of Akron, Kathy Jent (Tom) of Troy and S. Carolina; and also Jean Veres. He is also survived by his children and 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home (3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Jack was a big contributor to various Children Organizations such as, St. Jude's, Akron Children's Hospital, Toys for Tots and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
