He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Cooper and Catherine Cooper (Canavan); his former wife Linda Cooper; and his brother Frank Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Diana Kay Cooper of Wadsworth; his children, Gregory Cooper (Pamela) and Kimberly Minor (Mike); his grandchildren, Heather, Greg2, Nick (Sara) and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Liam, Finn and Riley; and his siblings, Cathy "Kitty" Calhoun (Don), Mary Stormer (Mike), Dolly Edwards (Fred), Beth Myszka (Kevin), Mike Cooper (Lynn), Jamie Cooper (Patrice) and Tim Cooper (Tammy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3326 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church (4019 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
