With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John N. Horak (Akron, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John N. left this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Horak and Ann Horak; his children, Anne Horak and Chuck Horak; his siblings, Lillian (Gene) and Frank; and his sister-in-law Madeline.
He is survived by: his children, John, Tina, Bill (Michele), Matt (Gina), Joe (Deanna), Wayne, Daniel (Shannon), Steve (Christie) and Casandra Arends; his siblings, Tom, Charles and Joan Tedrick (Greg); and his sister-in-law Sandy. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (2580 Berne St, Akron, OH 44312).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's name to St. Matthew Catholic Church.
