John F. Niekamp Obituary

John F. Niekamp, born on July 16, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on September 5, 2026. John leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Chris (Andrea), Jim (Cheryl) and Bridgett (Chad Fix); his grandchildren, Maggie Niekamp (Kevin Dong), Bradley, Jason, Sophie, Matthew, Stanley Niekamp and Mitchell Fix; and his wife Patricia. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren, and countless cherished family and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Sebastian Catholic Church (476 Mull Ave, Akron, OH 44320). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
