It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jordan Fredrick Steckel (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Louis, Irene Schiele, Harry and Thelma Steckel; and his cousin Christopher Hoskins.
He is survived by: his parents, Carl Steckel and Mary Steckel; his sister Nicole Harsh (Joe Harsh); and his nephews, Kegan Steckel and Gavan Harsh. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made directly to Nicole for the formation of a grant in Jordan's memory, honoring his generous spirit and love of helping others.
