He was predeceased by: his parents, José Rafael Brenes I and Sandra Seyfarth; his son José Rafael Brenes III; and his brother Ricardo Brenes. He is survived by: his wife Romie Jean Brenes; his son Brandon Carlos Brenes; his stepfather Kenneth Seyfarth; his stepchildren, Ashley Monroe (Jared), Celina Esperanza Martinez and Romey Ismael Martinez (Karen); his brothers, Juan Brenes (Wanita) and Nicholas Seyfarth; and his stepbrother Kenneth Seyfarth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
