He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Rini and Lee Rini; his sister Lynn Legger; his brother-in-law Joseph Legger; and his brother Ronald Rini.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Susan Scarponi, Laura Benscoter (Carl), Karen Rini and Thomas Rini (Elena); and his grandchildren, Andrew Scarponi (Emmett), Rachel Scarponi (Steven), Charlotte Scarponi (Alex), Joe Benscoter (Danielle), Melissa Green (David), Julie Benscoter, Matt Agpaoa (Jess), Abbey Agpaoa and Amber Eagans.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Joe's memory to The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland, Traditions Health Hospice Care of Cuyahoga Falls, or the Pelee Island Heritage Center.
