He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph VanDevere and Elsie VanDevere (Bennett). He is survived by: his wife Shirley VanDevere (Wagner); his children, Mike VanDevere (Marie), Vicki Borer (Paul), Christi Hutson (Mike), Mary Herpy (Dave), Debby Pianalto (Jim), Marcie Cerchione (Mike) and Jerry VanDevere (Stephanie); and his siblings, Chris VanDevere, MD (Kathie) and Joanne Reich.
