He was predeceased by: his wife Patty Yost; his parents, William Yost (Jacqualine Yost) and Jackie Yost; and his parents-in-law, Betty and John McKosky.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jim Yost, Gary Yost (Tobi), Randy Yost and Bob Yost (Trisha); his brother-in-law John McKosky (Claudia); his aunt Janet Carpenter; and his close friend Tina Wallace.
