Judith Faye Wood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Faye Wood (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William H. "Bill" Wood; her brother-in-law Harry Palmer Jr.; and her nephew Harry Palmer III. She is survived by: her children, Debra Swan (Derek) and Scott Wood (Susan); her grandchildren, Logan, Evan, Kaden, Wesley, Russell, Macie, Grace and Lily; her sister Linda Palmer; and her sibling's children, Laurie Rawlings, Kathy Palmer and Doug Palmer. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory are suggested to University Bible Fellowship Church, Akron.
