With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Scaletta (Akron, Ohio), born in Los Angeles, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Barrett and Catherine Barrett (Donald). She is survived by: her children, Helen Sano (Frank), Michael Morhidge (Debbie), Rosalie Morhidge, Julie Morhidge and Brett Scaletta; her grandchildren, Samantha Bennett (Michael), Michael Morhidge Jr., Ronald Martin (Kelly), Kristi Driscoll (Adam), Ashley Buckeye (Zack), Ella and Paige Scaletta; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Alexa, Brooklyn, Naomi, Charlie, Otto and Henry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Village of St. Edward, Fairlawn, St. Bernard's Hunger Programs and Haven of Rest Ministries.
