He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gohlke and Katherine Gohlke; his in-laws, Patricia and Dewey "Bud" Brown; his siblings, Robert Gohlke, Elizabeth "Nan" Baumgardner, Catherine Drurey and Daisy Stoneking; and his son-in-law Pat Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Sondra; his children, Kim Gohlke, Krista Dagnen (Scott), Korrey Brown and Kenneth Gohlke (Angie); his grandchildren, Taylor (Seth), Ben, Alyssa, Zach, Kelly (Aaron), Kassidy, Khloe, Noah, Emma, Jonah, Konnor, Mackenzie and Kacie; his great grandchildren, Bella, Scarlett and Giana; and his sisters, Marla Kuba (Chuck) and Marlene Archibald (Wally). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews' brothers and sisters in laws.
