Kevin Hogan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Hogan of Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 59. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kevin Hogan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Mary Ann Hogan, Rudolph and Pauline Kropac. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. James Hogan and Carolyn Hogan of Akron; his brothers, Dennis Hogan, Brian Hogan (Amy) and James Hogan (Lori); and his siblings' children, Emily Hogan, Jack Hogan, Alec Hogan, Colleen Hogan, Evelyn Hogan, Luke Hogan and Joseph Hogan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (2800 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Hilary Catholic Church (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the St. Hilary Parish Foundation, directed to the Hogan Family Scholarship Fund in Kevin's memory.
