He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Joe Godfrey (Judi), Julie Godfrey-Cornish (Paul) and Amy Simmons (Lex); his brother Gary Godfrey; his grandchildren, Jake Godfrey (Brooke), Jonah Godfrey-Cornish, Sarah Stutzman (Art Dalziel), Andrew Dyer (Ashley Courtney) and Emily Kisamore (Mitch); his great grandchildren, Aurora, Mia and Riley; and his friend Jim Page.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA).
