With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leon Nels of Akron, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leon left this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Nels Barich (Jozefa Strazisar); his wife Rosemary; and his siblings, Albina Snyder, Albert Nels, Jacob Nels, Josephine Grimsic, Tresa Nels and Paula Beavers.

He is survived by: his sibling-in-law Jerry; and his nephews, Joseph Grimsic, Fred Snyder, Rudy Calet, Alan Beavers, David Mark, Hobby Nels, Terry Nels and Albert Leon Nels.
