He is survived by: his daughter Marcia (Kevin Murray) of Cleveland Hts, OH.; his grandchildren, Elana Spieth (Russell), Erin Zelin (Steve) of Shaker Heights, OH, Sarah Murray (Don), Gabe Sweet (Kelly) and Dr. Raffi Sweet (Kate); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Sadie, Maya, Mason, Mikayla, Jasper, Iris, Jack and Talia.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Beth El Congregation (750 White Pond Dr, Akron, OH 44320). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Beth El Congregation (750 White Pond Dr, Akron, OH 44320).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Beth El Congregation (Akron, Ohio).
