It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda R. Greene (Akron, Ohio), born in Medina, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Greene; her parents, C. W. Klooz and Rita Klooz (Gunkelman); her sister-in-law Royale Klooz; her stepdaughters, Karen Greene and Lynette Barton; and her stepgrandson Jamie Greene.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Klooz, Lori Reed (Bob) and Robert Klooz; her daughters, Krista Shaffer and Kate Pinkus (Ryan); her grandchildren, Ally and Mila Pinkus; her stepchildren, Sheryl Clounie (Mark), David Greene and Linda Thompson (Bruce); her stepgrandchildren, Clifton Skeen, Shelby, Kaley Greene, Joshua (Maddy), Anna, Kaitlin Clounie, Rachel and Caleb Thompson; and her daughters, Meghan Jucius, Laura Kelly and Erika Hosey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
