With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois V. Jones (Akron, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on May 27, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mohney and Etta Mohney; her sons, Ronald Jones and Glenn Woods; and her sisters, Carole, Marlene and Colleen.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Woods, Debra Knisley (Donald), Chuck Woods, Mark Jones (Sue) and Kenny Jones; and her brother Butch Mohney (Carolyn). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
