It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis Robinson (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cody Lee and Audra Robinson; his wife Cheryl Ann "Ma" Robinson; and his siblings, Richard, Dean, Clarence, Larry, Jerry Robinson, Ana Lee Lucas and Sylvia Xenias.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny (Shoko) and Eric (Starr); his grandsons, Connor (Mattie), Logan (Brooke), Bradyn, Levi and Romeo; his siblings, Dale Robinson, Naomi Litton, Ileen Sedgwick (Glenn) and Sharon Cooper (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Paulette and Claris Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home- Akron (500 E Exchange St, Akron, OH 44304). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (500 E Exchange St, Akron, OH 44304). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support veterans through charitable causes such as the Cleveland Veteran's Affairs Medical Center or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, "In honor of those who sacrificed for freedom-lest we never forget.".
