He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Waters and Lillie Waters; and his siblings, Charles Waters, Raymond Waters, Carol Waters and Lourenthia Waters.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sylvia Davis, Vickie Watters, Margo Watters of Arlington, VA, Deborah Blackburn (Kevin) of Oakland and Cheo Akili; his children, Renee Hawthorne (Tim) of Cincinnati, Elijah Michaels and Nikki Haley; his granddaughter Aniyah Carey; and his friend Ashton Clark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
