With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Joan Gaydash (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Gaydash Jr.; her sister Doris Everly; her mother-in-law Stella Gaydash; and her parents, Don Amendolar and Mary Ann Flaherty.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Gaydash, Sr.; her children, Justine Lakatos (Carl), Jean Markham (Jim) and Joel Gaydash; her grandchildren, Amanda Lakatos, Veronica Lakatos, Jimmy Markham (Katie), Jason Markham (Caitlin), Jeremy Markham, Jamie Janis, Jerry Gaydash III, Chelsea Santarelli, Sara Ordway and Whitney Gaydash; her great grandchildren, James Markham, Gabby Markham, Riley Markham, Mason Markham, Jerry Gaydash IV, Sylas Gaydash and Jace Gaydash; her sister Carol Rossi; Shannon Gaydash. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home- Akron (500 E Exchange St, Akron, OH 44304). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
