She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Young and Lenora Persinger Young; her husband Rev. Charles Jack; her sons, Charles, Malcolm and Wallace; her siblings, Virgil (Eula), John (Millie), Frank "Bob", Charles (Peg), Ed, Henry (Martha), Lorena Hedrick (Jack), Clara Edrington, Betty Young, Carol "Sue" Lowe (Jack), Emily Moore (Joe) and Annabelle Asbury (Kelly); her sister-in-law Annabelle Jack Waters (Marvin); and her grandson-in-law Butler Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Merriam (JJ Cole); her grandchildren, JJ Cole (Leann), Tish Brown and Amanda DePriest (Charley); her great grandchildren, Aiden Cole, Kinsley Cole, Charley DePriest, John DePriest and Griffin Brown; her niece Kaye Miller (Buddy); and her sister-in-law Bonnie Asbury. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Old Greenbrier Cemetery.
