With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Eckert (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on January 7, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Martha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Eckert and Lillian Eckert; and her siblings, Norma Everett (Tom) and James Eckert. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Joan Eckert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
