We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2025, at the age of 89, Mary Ann Oliver of Akron, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Sr.; and her son Charles "Chuck" Oliver. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Weaver (Ron), Gordon Jr. (Nancy), Michael (Julie), Julie Baker (Jay), Monica Meckler (Joe), Vincent (Jenn), Thomas (Kim) and Shawn (Mindy); and her siblings, Arlene Cioli and Tom Weakland. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Parish (55 Broad St, Akron, OH 44305). The inurnment will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
