With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Sobitz (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Sobitz and Katy Sobitz; her siblings, Dorothy Prunari (Terry), Violet Sobitz, Catherine Emich (Al), Mike (Barbara), Wesley and Tim (Sue); her niece Cindy Sisler; and her nephew Brian Sobitz (Helouise Gates).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Sue Sobitz; and her nieces and nephews, Michael (Kathy), Tim Sobitz (Brenda), Steve (Maria), Jeff, Lynn Messenger (Jim), Pam Emich, Sheila Trombka (Larry), Cheryl Paz (Billy) and Debbie Martell (Mike). She is also survived by many great nephews and nieces and friends.
Memorials may be made to Camp Carl in the name of David Burnham, her pastor for many years at the Chapel in Akron.
