She was predeceased by: her husband William Henderson Harris, Jr.; her parents, Elnora Wells (Laster) and Henry Wells; her sister Jimmie Bowen; her brother-in-law Allen Bowen; her sister Ella Wells; and her nephew Henry Allen Bowen.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Powell (Jimmy, Sr.) of Suitland, MD, Reneé Wright (Harry, Jr.) of Hudson, OH and Carl Harris of Tallmadge, OH.; her grandchildren, Shaun Powell, Derrell Wright (Kelly), Danielle Wright, Jimmy Powell, Jr. (Madina) and Teela Powell-Corbin; and her great grandchildren, Jacquéz Powell, Keyondré Powell, Zia Corbin, Zuré Corbin, Mason Wright, Benjamin Wright, Mala Powell, Brooke Benedicto and Jax Powell. She is also survived by Mom doted on her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and her close cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home (529 W Thornton St, Akron, OH 44307).
