She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shreffler and Genevieve Shreffler (Spain); and her brothers, Patrick Shreffler and Michael Shreffler. She is survived by: her children, Gary Frye (Kazuko), Theresa Stott (Michael) and Jerid Frye (Jamie); her grandchildren, Nichole Avramovich (Greg), Bradley Frye, Taylor Stott-Trout (Taylor), Kaylee Frye, Celeste Kidd and Kalel Kidd; her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Clara, Olivia and Maverick; her sister Paula Sands; and her former husband Larry Frye (Lynn).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in memory of Mary Frye.
