It is with sadness that the passing of Marynell Davis Teets in Akron, Ohio is shared. Marynell, born on May 16, 1932, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Davis and Bertha Hunter Davis; her husband Ray Teets; her sister Vivian Slagle; and her children, Sheila Freeman and Bucky Puett.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Busteed of Blairsville, Georgia and Mark Teets of Penhook, Virginia; her nieces, Suzy Slagle and Sandi Dalessandro; and her nephew John Mark Slagle. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four step-granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ivie Funeral Home (67 NC-69, Hayesville, NC 28904).
