He is survived by: his sons, Micheal D. Beckett, Jr. (Lacindra) and Marquelle B. Beckett (Janai); the mother of his children Joyce Beckett; his grandchildren, Envyonna Thomas, Michael D., Marquelle and Marlee Beckett; his sisters, Annie Shelley, Barbara, Phyllis, Brenda Beckett and Jewell Crawford; his sisters-in-law, Jane, Jackie and Ladonna Beckett; his close friend Kenny Freeman; and his caregiver Karmen Beckett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
