He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evancho and Sophie Evancho (Bizaha); his wife MaryAgnes (Ostetrico); and his siblings, Anna Zelenak, Sophia Evancho, William Evancho and John Evancho.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Evancho-Chapman (Damien), Mark J. Evancho and Mariea Anna Madea; his granddaughters, Cassandra Chapman PharmD, Amelia Chapman Rose, Aurora Madea and Jeanette Brunsdon; his siblings-in-law, Ida Ostetrico and Charlie Ostetrico (Cheryl); and his nieces, Ginger Pollack and Mary Ellen Evancho.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church (1051 Robinson Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cemetery (1051 Robinson Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A reception will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301).
