He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Zimmerman and Anna Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Gayle (Kyle); his children, Tim (Alyssa), Erin (Manny) and Adam (Niki); his grandchildren, Zachary, Jack, Landyn, Layni, Vinny and Frankie; his sisters, Kathy Hausch (Michael) and Maureen Lott (Daniel); and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Williams and Marty Kyle (Jody).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name to the ALS Association or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
