She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Harry D. Wells and Clara Wells; her siblings, Warren Quives, Nathaniel Wells, Margaret Turner, Beatrice Washington and Shirley Dent; and her cousin Evelyn Washington (Henry Louis Evans Jr.).
She is survived by: her children, David Evans and Charlotte Andrews; her grandchildren, Tiffani Evans (DeShawn Stone), Ryan Evans, Dion Evans (Sitera), Mikhayah Evans and Joseph Knight; her great grandchildren, Mya and Isaiah Knight; her brothers, James Wells (Donna) and Roger Wells (Barbara); her daughters-in-law, Andrea Evans and Erin Morris-Kabiya; and her children, Barbara Andrews, First Lady Stephanie Willis, Minister Larry (Sharnetta Bradshaw) and Deacon Charles (Deaconess Gloria Preer).
